The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is one of the most popular custom CPU coolers currently available. Today, Cooler Master has given it a new look with the Hyper 212 Halo Edition, which features the MasterFan MF120 Halo².

Unfortunately, this cooler is not based on the game Halo, but rather on the moniker of the new Cooler Master MF120 Halo² fans that are now included with the Hyper 212. Not only does this cooler feature a new fan but it has also been redesigned with a color scheme that matches the fan and a top cover that features the signature logo in both white and black.

The Hyper 212 Halo has a height of 154mm and a compact profile to maximize compatibility with the majority of chassis and RAM orientations, as well as updated installation brackets for the most recent LGA1700 and AM5 sockets.

The New Halo² MasterFan MF120

The highlight of this new Hyper 212 variant is the incorporation of Cooler Master’s new MasterFan Halo², which has 10% larger fan blades than its predecessor. The Halo²has improved ventilation and cooling efficacy, as well as a hybrid frame structure that reduces vibration and noise. The Halo² fans are fashionable with their dual-loop LED design utilizing Cooler Master’s addressable Gen 2 RGB illumination, which offers the highest level of customization. Similar to the Hyper 212, these fans are also available in white, black, and 140mm sizes.
