Samsung has recently introduced the Galaxy A24, which is one of the most affordable A series devices, replacing the Galaxy A23. However, the company has increased the phone’s appeal by adding it to its list of four-year updates. Previously, the Galaxy A33 was the least expensive device in the A series to receive Samsung’s industry-leading update promise.

The Galaxy A24 utilizes One UI 5.1 based on Android 13, ensuring that the device will receive software updates until Android 17. In addition, the phone will receive five years of security updates, a substantial update vow for a sub-$300 phone.

Samsung’s Galaxy A24: Affordable with 4 Years of Updates

The Galaxy A24 is currently available in Vietnam and a few African countries, but there is no information regarding its pricing and availability in the United States. The phone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It utilizes a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W quick charging. The Galaxy A24 is equipped with 6/8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and dual-SIM connectivity. It also has a microSD card port that can expand the storage capacity by up to 1 terabyte.

The Galaxy A24’s rear camera system incorporates three shooters. It has a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. In contrast, the front-facing camera has a 13MP selfie photographer. There are two color variants for the phone: Lime Green and Vampire Black.
