Amazon has announced that its popular camera review website, DPReview, would be discontinued in the near future. The website has been online for approximately twenty-five years.
The general manager of DPReview.com, Scott Everett, stated, “The website will stay online until April 10, and the editorial staff is continuing doing evaluations and looking forward to presenting some of our finest material ever.”

In addition, Amazon stated that “the decision was made as part of our parent company’s yearly assessment of the operational strategy”
DPReview was established in England in 1998 and was acquired by Amazon in 2007. In 2010, following the acquisition of the brand, the internet giant transferred the team to Seattle, Washington, in order to bring the firm closer to its headquarters.
Also, beginning of March 9, Amazon has ceased offering magazine and newspaper subscriptions via Kindle Newsstand (2023). In addition, according to the rumors, the business will stop providing current Kindle Newsstand subscriptions in September of this year.
